New free teacher resource pages

By Angela Watson

If you’re new here, you might not realize that The Cornerstone site is combination of blog posts and static web pages. The blog posts are part of a feed which you can subscribe to by email or RSS so that when I write anything new on the blog, you’ll get notified. Blog posts are usually my reflections on current topics. I also use the blog to share give-aways and book reviews, classroom management tips from teachers, freebie collections, and my Ask Angela Anything post series.

The web pages aren’t part of that: those are timeless resources that I can add new stuff to whenever I want, as there are no dates on pages. The pages are usually longer than blog posts and have more resources, and they’re categorized in the drop down menu bar at the top of the page (under Free Resources): Behavior Management, Centers, Routines and Procedures, Organization and Decoration, and so on. There are 20 categories and each one has multiple sub-pages within it.

So, yeah, that’s a lot of stuff. If you want to find out when new blog posts AND new pages are added to the site, choose one of these three options:

1) Check the Free Resources page.

I list all of the new blog posts, devotional posts, and web pages added to my website in chronological order.

2) Follow on Facebook.

I don’t always share links to the new posts and pages right away, but they do get shared there within a few days, so it’s a decent option for staying informed. Typically I post to Facebook once per day, so you won’t get swamped with my updates. Keep in mind that Facebook rarely shows you every single thing a person or page has posted, so it’s smart to use Facebook lists to ensure you receive all updates.

3) Get a newsletter update via email twice a month.

On the 1st and 15th of every month, I post a message on The Cornerstone yGroup message forums to let members know what I’ve added to the site. It’s not a fancy-looking newsletter, but it will give you links to all the new stuff I’ve written and is the surest way to make sure you’re not missing anything.

In case you haven’t done any of those things yet, here are a few of the new free teacher resource pages I’ve added to the site recently:
