Do you accept guest bloggers?

Yes! If you’re a teacher or other education practitioner, I would love to have you share your practical teaching ideas on my blog. Just fill out this form. Please note that this opportunity is available only for educators and edubloggers: companies wishing to include links to their products or websites must submit sponsored guest blog posts.

Will you do a guest blog exchange or write a post for my site?

Typically, no. I’m sorry! I have a limited amount of time for writing blog posts, and my priority has to be creating content for my own blog.

How can I sponsor your podcast?

Truth for Teachers is weekly audio podcast designed to encourage and motivate teachers. With over 5 million downloads per month, it consistently ranks in the top three K-12 podcasts in iTunes.

I accept 2-3 sponsors per podcast episode to feature in a 30-60 second pre-roll (advertisement placed at the beginning of the podcast, immediately after the theme song and introduction ends.)

As a podcast sponsor, you will receive:

• Audio promotion: I will announce your company or product as a sponsor of the show, and record 30-60 seconds of promotion. You can specify exactly what you’d like me to say, or simply provide input on my suggested wording. This is a powerful form of advertisement, because listeners will hear me, personally, recommending your product.
• Blog promotion: Each podcast episode has a blog post associated with it that contains a transcript and links to show resources. Truth for Teachers received over 8 million page views last year. As a podcast sponsor, your link and promotional copy is automatically included in the episode’s blog post at no additional charge.
• Social media promotion: We promote every blog post and podcast episode widely on Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook, Google+, and LinkedIn. The link to the blog post and episode with your sponsorship information will be shared with this teacher community on social media indefinitely.

How can I purchase a sponsored blog post?

We are not running sponsored blog posts at this time.

Can you help spread the word about our project/ resource/ organization?

Because the site averages over 800K page views a month, we have been inundated by requests from organizations wanting their programs, sites, and products featured. You are welcome to send a link to your resources for consideration via the form, but we’re not able to personally respond.

Will you help share my fundraiser/Donor’s Choose/Kickstarter project?

I get requests to share fundraisers multiple times per week, and unfortunately, I can’t accommodate all of those requests and still stay focused on sharing useful content and practical resources for my readers.

Will you review/promote my book for teachers?

I occasionally review books that have a broad appeal to a diverse group of educators and that fit with the overarching themes on my blog (practical instructional strategies, classroom management, teacher motivation, stress management, etc.) I generally do not review books that only appeal to a small niche of teachers.

You are welcome to email me and ask if your book is a good fit for my site. Please keep in mind that authors and their agents/publishers email me on a daily basis with these requests so I am only able to accept a very small number of them. I will respond to your email only if I feel like the book is a good fit for the blog and my editorial schedule can accommodate it.

Will you review/promote my children’s book?

I get multiple requests every week to review children’s books, so out of fairness, I have a blanket policy of saying no to all children’s book review requests.

Will you review/promote my book that’s targeted toward parents or the general public?

My audience is comprised of teachers, so I typically write about topics that are directly related to teaching.

Do you offer a discount on multiple copies of your books?

Do you send review copies of your book?

Yes. Please fill out the contact form at the bottom of the page with the title of the book you’d like to review and share a little bit about your background and interest in the book.

Do you offer bookseller discounts?

Yes, 50%. Complete the contact form at the bottom of the page, providing the book titles you want to order, the number of copies you need of each, and the mailing address you need them shipped to. I will send you an exact quote with shipping fees. I do accept purchase orders.

How do I order your course for my school?

Email us with the number of staff members who will be taking the course and we will send you a quote and explain how the course viewing works.

Can I be a guest on your podcast?

Can you mentor/coach me?

I wish that I had the available time to do individual coaching and mentoring! I do, however, have hundreds of pages of resources here on the site to help you along. The best way to get more support is through the 40 Hour Teacher Workweek, as I’m very actively involved in that community.

Can you help me get started as an educational consultant?

I have a section of my website dedicated to Edupreneur resources, including pages on how to start and monetize a teaching blog and publish your own book. I also have a course on how to transition into educational consulting which allows you to “pick my brain” a bit. This has not been updated in several years, though, as I am focusing the majority of my energy on 40 Hour.
