LOL, underlining won't help, they are parents of the children in your class. Apples don't fall far from the tree.
But you REALLY do need to proof read, I agree.
Thats a TERRIBLE typo.
Teach5, the crazy thing is, I proofread several times (I always do). But I think the phrase "Broward County Public Schools" just kind of ran together in my mind and I didn't watch the individual words.
Amazingly, or perhaps not-so-amazingly, none of the parents called me on it (or joked me on it, either). 🙂
Worst. Typo. Ever.
Hilarious! I love it!
Some of our 5th graders did Native American projects and on their project board, one group wrote "what they whore" instead of "what they wore" (as in clothing)…none of the 5th grade teachers or students caught it, and unfortunately a parent pointed it out to the head custodian as he was sweeping the lobby where the projects were sitting! Major teacher FAIL!!! LOL!
Now if a fantastic experienced teacher like yourself still make the BEST mistakes that I have heard of so far…well there is hope for me after all!! xx Top marks for sharing lovely-made my day!!
