Leah has taught high school Social Studies in Texas for 11 years, most recently AP World History, AP US History, and African American History. She holds a master's degree in Prevention Science and Practice and has a passion for social-emotional learning. As an AVID teacher the past three years, she has helped students think about their futures, work on their organization and time management skills, and become self-advocates. She lives in Dallas with her partner and her two dogs.
