Alissa is a National Board Certified Teacher, linguist, and Global Education coordinator with nearly 2 decades of public school classroom teaching and instructional coaching experience. She has also worked as a teacher, coach, and trainer in disciplines ranging from classical ballet to translation quality control. The first woman in the US to attain ADAPT parkour coaching certification, she was also the founder and executive director of a nationally-recognized parkour organization and is an international competitor in full-contact Chinese Sanda fighting. Alissa is passionate about global education, languages, and helping people realize and celebrate their full potential.
